The exhibition will feature industrial landscapes of St. Petersburg, made in the technique of gum-pigment printing, known since the days of photography. The image is achieved not by chemical means, but with the help of real pigments used in painting and graphics.
In the 19th century, a special architectural style was formed and acquired its characteristic features, which was perceived as industrial - "red brick". Industrial buildings made of red brick are basically utilitarian, devoid of decor, demonstrating their pure engineering design, and are not appreciated at their true worth, although they attracted the views of artists with their special mood.
Sergey Klimov was born in 1969. Studied at LETI (Faculty of Informatics).
