IVANOVO. It became possible to present the work of Chuvash artists in Ivanovo thanks to the exchange project operating among the regional branches of the Russian Federation. The exhibition "Artists of Chuvashia" was opened on August 30 at the House of Artists, in its Large Exhibition Hall.

Visitors to the exhibition faced a large-scale exposition consisting of works that clearly show how the contemporary art of Chuvashia is developing. The organizers of the exhibition included not only large paintings, but also sculptures. Next to them are exhibits representing arts and crafts.

Together with works of art, a large delegation of their creators, who decided to personally present their works, arrived in Ivanovo. Most of the names of artists accompanying the exhibition can rightly be called the elite of the art world of the Republic of Chuvashia.

Revel Fedorovich Fedorov, a national artist who is a full member of the Russian Academy of Arts and a member of the Presidium of the Academy, also entered the delegation. The exhibition features the best works of Chuvash artists from their own collections. Among them there are works created recently, and there are also written in the pre-war years.

At the opening of the exhibition, further plans for cooperation of the Chuvash masters with the Ivanovo branch of the Union of Artists were announced. It is possible that next year the residents of Ivanovo will be able to see the personal exhibition of Revel Fedorov and the vernissage of the national art of Chuvashia.

The exhibition "Artists of Chuvashia" will be open until September 25. At the same time, residents of Cheboksary will continue their acquaintance with the exhibition "Artists of the Ivanovo Land", which opened on August 26 within the walls of the Art Museum. The exhibition is complemented by a lacquer miniature from artists of the Palekh branch of the Union of Artists.
