This year, events as part of the “Museum for All!” Campaign will be held in three departments of the museum. All of them will be held on December 1. In the main building of the museum (Lenin St., 5) at 12. 00 in conjunction with the Irkutsk Regional Public Organization of Parents of Disabled Children "Solar Circle" will be held a meeting "Art on the palms." A special program has been prepared for children and their parents, which will introduce you to the language of flowers - "hanakotoba" and the Japanese floral calendar; here you can listen to stories about chrysanthemum, get acquainted with Japanese sayings and proverbs and their Russian counterparts. Children will go on excursions to mini-exhibitions of plants native to the Land of the Rising Sun and works of decorative and applied art by Japanese authors whose decor uses floral motifs. In conclusion, everyone will try to make a picture of themselves in the “osibana” style, which literally translates from Japanese as “pressed flowers”. Beginning at 14.00.
