The exhibition includes works created by the best masters of art of the Ryazan Territory. To host the exhibition, the museum has allocated several rooms where, in paintings and graphic works, supplemented by sculptures, a retrospective of the works of artists united by the Union of Artists of the Ryazan region is presented.

The museum houses artworks from 1940 to 1990. The oldest works belong to A.V. Syrov, one of the first members of the Ryazan organization of the Union of Artists. In the 70s, artists actively worked, whose creative career began in the early sixties. The exposition includes works made by A. M. Titov, V. V. Ageev and other remarkable Ryazan masters. The final stage of the exhibition was the work created by artists who came to art in the late seventies. Many of them are still actively engaged in creativity.

Representatives of the Ryazan Region Administration and Gennady Pravotorov, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, Secretary of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation arrived at the opening of the exhibition with congratulations. A guest from the capital praised the work of Ryazan artists. The solemn part of the opening concert of Marina Ovodkova, singer of songs and romances, ended.

In the hall of the Union of Artists on the same day the exhibition "Autumn" was opened, representing the recent works of contemporary artists of Ryazan. Both dedicated to the anniversary of the exhibition are open until November 23.
