BELGOROD. At the opening of the joint exhibition of the father and son of the Kolegaevs, the Rodina exhibition hall was filled with guests. If most of the public is well acquainted with the work of Daniil Kolegaev, the youngest member of this talented family, then his father, Andrei Kolegaev, presents his work at the exhibition for the first time.

The authors gave the name “Colegraphics” to their family project. Daniel is better known in Belgorod as a musician. Now he works in Moscow, is engaged in design, but in his hometown he is known as the founder of the group "Tree", which successfully combined his passion for music with the art of graphics.

Daniel has already held two solo exhibitions, where he showed his drawings and computer graphics. His father, Andrei Kolegaev, works as an architect, and spends his free time on a hobby born in his student years - he draws cartoons and caricatures.

At this exhibition, the works of Kolegaev Sr. appeared thanks to his son who persuaded his father to take part in it. Andrei selected 35 of his works for showing to the public - three paintings, and the rest were drawings. Some were kept in the artist’s home collection, and some of them were donated to friends who returned the drawings to the author during the exhibition.

Interestingly, initially all the drawings were created in black and white. Then the artist decided to execute them in color. So the very same plots appeared, but written in ink and watercolor. In preparation for the exhibition, the author had an idea - to combine both versions on one stand. Now visitors to the exhibition can see both options nearby.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by musicians and poets, so the atmosphere was cheerful and friendly. The exposition awaits guests until September 13. It is expected that the closing of the exhibition will be no less interesting.
