Today, in anticipation of their common anniversary, the Ivashentsevs gathered for the exhibition a solid collection of paintings presented to the audience in the form of a retrospective. According to Oleg Ivashentsev, from the works available in their creative luggage, if desired, one could put together another, the same size, exposition.

Many of Oleg’s works were acquired by private collectors. Not so long ago, his personal exhibition was held in Moscow, with which a whole series of his early paintings went to Japan. Oleg Ivashentsev’s painting has a bright color and is very emotional. It is possible that it is precisely this quality of his work that attracts many admirers to the artist’s work.

Watercolors painted by Tamara Ivashentseva look completely different - they are delicate and subtle, almost transparent. Although for many years the life (including creative) of this couple passes nearby, each has its own creative world. If among the works of Oleg, compositional paintings dominate, then Tamara always liked to write still lifes.

However, recently the artist began to paint landscapes. The exhibition presents a whole series of works of this genre, where Tamara in urban landscapes surprisingly accurately managed to convey the atmosphere of the province.

In total, the exhibition, which continues to work until September 25, presents more than a hundred works by Tambov artists Ivashentsevs - bright, saturated colors, paintings by Oleg, watercolors and graphics of Tamara.
