Working as a teacher at the Ryazan College of Art, Margarita, along with her students, began to create dolls, which gradually grew into an important hobby. Now Margarita Budyleva’s author’s dolls are participating in exhibitions along with her paintings.

The artist’s childhood and youth passed in Tbilisi, where she graduated from the Academy of Arts. Therefore, the first puppet family were dolls and compositions with them, reminiscent of Margarita Budyleva’s hometown. Then, fairy-tale heroes appeared in the artist’s collection of works, both in the form of puppet people and settling on paintings.
