Despite his academic interest in composition, the artist Shapovalov is most in love with color. According to him, one of the most important talents in painting is a color sense, the ability to feel the subtle nuances of color categories. This is what makes an artist an artist. Based primarily on the three primary colors, Vladimir seeks to subordinate the composition to the color glow. “I want the color to buzz,” - he says so about his work.

And yet, the most important thing in painting is inner freedom. “Finally, I forgot how to draw!” - quotes Matisse Shapovalov and this quote denotes his main artistic principle. Work intuitively, without looking at anyone, with years of practice and a strong theoretical base. To write quickly, spontaneously, without scrupulousness - this is what Shapovalov is striving for.
