From November 24, 2018 to January 20, 2019, the unique exhibition “Masterpieces of Western European Watercolors and Graphics from the Collection of A.G. Egorova. Italy, France. Spain".
The time scale of the collection covers the period from the 16th to the mid-20th century. The culture of centuries and the evolution of painting is revealed in landscapes and portraits of representatives of three countries: Italy, France, Spain, available in one space.
The exhibition presents more than 200 works by prominent artists: Raphael and Michelangelo, E. Manet and O. Renoir, S. Dali and Picasso, as well as little-known masters: E. Russia, J. Piranesi and others. The works belong to different types, genres and areas of art and represent a special flavor of watercolor painting and graphics.
The canvases fully and vividly demonstrate the culture and art of the largest Western European countries.
The watercolor school of Sergei Andriyaka expresses sincere gratitude to Alexei Georgievich Egorov for the opportunity to present wonderful works of outstanding artists within the walls of the School.
The exhibition runs until January 20, 2019.
Alexey Georgievich Egorov
Aleksei Georgievich began collecting art objects in 1998. Currently, he has one of the largest collections of watercolors and graphics of the 16th - mid-20th centuries in Russia, as well as bronze sculpture.
The owner’s collections were exhibited at the State Historical Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Vologda Art Gallery, the Rybinsk Museum Association, the museum and exhibition complex of the Moscow School of Watercolor Sergey Andriyaka.
Works from the collections of A.G. Egorov served as the basis for the publication of a number of books, monographs, albums and catalogs.
