On November 17, the Petersburg Concert will present for the first time in the city on the Neva the musical team of Christina (Tina) Kuznetsova - Zventa Sventana. On the stage of the fashionable "Dance Grounds" (Konyushennaya Square, 2A), folk songs will be heard in the original sound - indie pop and techno. The concert will be held as part of the VII International Cultural Forum.
The founder of Zventa Sventana is Tina Kuznetsova, the finalist of the popular show “Voice” on Channel One, a successful jazz performer and composer, winner of many international competitions and festivals. She worked with Bi-2, Igor Butman, Anton Belyaev, Pelageya, Andrey Kondakov, collaborated with the legendary Bobi McFerrin, author of “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”.
In addition to original jazz hits, the group creates unique compositions combining ancient Russian songs and modern music. Thanks to the electronic author’s arrangement, which Tina Kuznetsova creates in collaboration with the founder of the legendary group “Guests from the Future” Yuri Usachev, the songs of Zventa Sventana sound relevant and accessible. The group breaks down stereotypes about folk music, demonstrating a daring and relevant look at traditional art.
The new music format will appeal to music lovers of all ages and preferences: from advanced music lovers to fans of ethnography and folklore. On the eve of the release of the new album, Zventa Sventana will perform for the first time with a new solo program, including folk songs from the expedition archives of various regions of Russia in the original performance.
The concert starts at 20 o’clock.
