The first international festival of baby performances "Kukusya" Automatic translate
MOSCOW
April 1-2, 2017
On April 1, the first international festival of baby performances "Kukusya" will open in Moscow. Within two days, performances for spectators from six months will be shown at the Philharmonic 2.
In recent years, the baby theater has become one of the most interesting trends of not only European, but also Russian theater. The Kukusya Festival is the first theater forum in our country to bring together the best performances for kids from different cities in one program.
The festival of baby performances is conceived as an interactive art space in which you can spend the whole day with your baby: not only watch the play, but also feed healthy food, swaddle, play and find people who are close in spirit. In a spacious game zone for two days they will wait: an educational program for parents, workshops on creating sand animation and a home theater, designers of different sizes and stripes, books, music, baby yoga and much more.
One of the most important tasks of the festival is to create an open and friendly creative environment for meeting young spectators with the "big world". It seems important to us to support a new generation of parents and babies who build relationships with each other and surrounding people on trust, mutual respect and support.
Ekaterina Gayeva, curator of the festival, director: “A game for a child is the most organic way of learning. And for kids, theater is one of the most understandable forms of interaction with the world and an important source for the development of emotional intelligence. ”
Varvara Korovina, curator of the festival, producer: “By immersing the kids in the play environment, the theater opens the whole world for them. We would like to share how different, simple, but not simplified, inventive and unexpected theater for the smallest can be ”.
All the performances of the festival are chamber, home. Young viewers can be watched in an embrace with their parents.

Actress and theater teacher Claudia Noanon (Ireland) and director, puppeteer Carolina Zernite (Lithuania), who are known in Moscow for the May Night performance of the Moscow Puppet Theater nominated for the Golden Mask Award in 2014, will share their methods and technologies. One part of the master class will be dedicated to awakening the ability to create texts in the imagination of participants, the second - to finding a way to tell a story. Using minimal means, participants in the master class will study the depth of legends and the power of intuition, look for their story and a way to tell it.
