After the meeting with reporters, the opening ceremony of the BTK-fest began. It took a little time - the audience eagerly awaited the appearance on the stage of the actors of the theater "AHE". The acting duo presented on the stage their thoughts on life and death. The source of inspiration at the birth of the play “Between Two…” was the “Tibetan Book of the Dead”. At the end of the first festival day, the rock group Iva Nova, playing alternative rock, delighted the audience with interesting and groovy music.
Even before the official opening of the BTK-fest, viewers were shown the new work of the Puppet Format theater - The Queen of Spades, directed by Anna Viktorova. And the Karlsson Haus Theater presented the wonderful performance of “Vanya” - the work of Alexei Lelyavsky, a director from Minsk.
Such a number of events occurred on the first day of a theatrical festival. In total, during the festival, viewers will see about twenty performances that arrived in St. Petersburg from different cities. Last year, "BTK-fest" was held for the first time. Then most of the program consisted of the works of European theaters. This year the festival program represents Russian groups.
