The Tairov Theater was replaced by the MDT named after Pushkin. Director Evgeny Pisarev in honor of the anniversary of the Chamber Theater decided to remind theatergoers of an unusual troupe that worked on the stage, where artists from the Moscow Theater of Music now play Pushkin. Elena Gremina created the play using only documentary materials - letters, memoirs, documents.

The director staged the play as a series of episodes dedicated to certain events in the life of the theater, and between them inserted fragments of performances from the Chamber’s repertoire. Almost the entire troupe of the theater takes part in the performance. In the final of the premiere, under a long applause of the audience, Yevgeny Pisarev brought to the stage all who participated in the creation of the dedication of the Tairov Theater. Even those whom spectators practically do not see — make-up artists and dressers — came to bow to the applauding audience.
