Grand Prix of the "Date with Russia" festival won by "Leninland" Automatic translate

The V International Festival of Tourist Films “Date with Russia”, held in the Republic of Ingushetia, ended on September 30, 2014. The Grand Prix of the festival was rightfully won by Askold Kurov’s film Leninland.

The jury was attended by Vladislav Nikolaev, editor-in-chief of Strana TV channel, Olga Nikolic, representative of the executive directorate of the All-Russian public organization Russian Geographical Society, screenwriter and director Sulambek Mamilov, as well as Polish photographer and film director Gregory Kaplya.

According to the editor-in-chief of the Strana TV channel and jury member Vladislav Nikolaev, the festival program was varied and very interesting, and the competition works themselves were highly professional. The chairman of the jury, Nikolai Tabashnikov, noted that almost all the films were at a high level, and therefore it was difficult to decide in favor of any one work. All members of the jury thanked the contestants for the good films provided and wished them further creative successes and victories.

The closing ceremony of the International Festival of Tourist Films "Date with Russia" ended with the solemn transfer of the relay from the Republic of Ingushetia to the Crimean city of Sevastopol, where the VI festival is planned next year.
