CHELYABINSK. The pioneers of the new theater season in the city were the smallest spectators who visited the Chelyabinsk Puppet Theater on August 24. The first performance shown to the kids was one of the tales of the cheerful Chef Teddy Bear Winnie the Pooh, beloved by the audience of any age, creatively reworked by the main director of the theater Alexander Borok.

For young lovers of theatrical art, on the opening day of the season, the actors not only prepared a wonderful production, but also prepared some interesting surprises. After the performance, each kid could congratulate the main character of the performance on his birthday by writing a greeting card to him, singing a congratulatory song for him about the loaf baked on Viniy Pooh’s birthday, as well as blowing out the candles on the cake baked for him.

After the performance for children was finished, the actors of the theater, in preparation for the "Big Hand" ceremony held annually in the theater, voted to make their choice of actors who deserve to be winners in eight nominations of the competition. The actors are holding this ceremony for the fourth time in their team. Usually it was held before the summer vacation of the troupe, as if summing up the results of the outgoing season, but this year they decided to reward the best workers of the theater after a summer vacation.

The whole theater staff takes part in the selection of winners, anonymous voting. Two nominations - “Golden Hands” and “Labor Hands” are intended for workers in production workshops. The best boss will receive the Hand-Leading Award, and the person who has dedicated his life to the Puppet Theater will receive the Hand of the Master Award. There are prizes for actors, for the media, and the breakthrough of the season will be awarded with a short name - “Hook”.

The winners will be awarded on September 12th.
