KRASNOYARSK. Since November 7, the Krasnoyarsk CX is waiting for everyone to get acquainted with the work of the Krasnoyarsk artist Vera Evgenievna Kobyteva. A solo exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of the artist will run until November 27 in the hall of the House of Artists on Prospekt Mira. The exposition consists of graphic works made by Vera Evgenievna in various techniques.
Born into a family of professional artists E. Kobytev and T. Miroshkina, Vera Evgenievna had no doubt in choosing a profession. Initially, she graduated from the Art College named after Surikova, and then continued her education at VGIK. After graduating from the capital’s institute with a degree in painting, the artist returned to Krasnoyarsk, kA a professional film and television artist.
Since 1975, the artist showed her graphic works at exhibitions of various significance, and in 2002, her first solo exhibition was held. For many years, starting in 1985, Vera Kobyteva worked in the Shelen plant in Krasnoyarsk, where she created many interesting patterns embodied in the enterprise when producing jacquard fabrics. Her designs in the form of curtains and furniture decoration have become an adornment of many apartments and office premises.
In 1998, Vera Kobyteva became a member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation. Since the beginning of the annual winter Surikov festival, which was first held in 2012, Vera Evgenievna has become a regular participant in it. The artist travels a lot, brings new works from each creative trip.
The geography of the places she visited is vast. On her works you can see both the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia, the Far East. Most of Vera Kobyteva’s work was done in watercolor, but the artist also uses pastel. She works in easel graphics.
