In Saransk, an exhibition of the artist from the Moscow region Vyacheslav Shmaginai and his students Automatic translate
SARANSK. Visitors to the Mordovian Museum. On April 13, S. Erzi presented the exhibition “Vyacheslav Shmagin and Students”, the exhibition of which consists of the artist’s works, successfully combining his own creativity with pedagogical activity. Vyacheslav Nikolaevich hails from the small town of Kimry in the Tver Region, but has been living in the city of Dubna, located in the Moscow Region, for many years.
Vyacheslav Shmagin received the profession of an artist in Moscow, having graduated from the famous art school bearing the name of 1905. For about 15 years he was a teacher of an art school for children of the city of Dubna near Moscow. Since 2003, he is the founder and head of the studio of modern painting. Everyone can become a student of his art.
The age of the students is almost unlimited - Vyacheslav Nikolaevich is engaged in fifteen-year-olds and people who celebrated their sixtieth birthday. The artist’s students work in different genres and techniques traditional for the visual arts, both Russian and European. Their works can be seen at exhibitions held in Dubna and other regions.
Vyacheslav Shmagin himself over the years of creativity has been a participant in many exhibitions, preferring to show his works at displays of non-communist art held in Moscow and Leningrad. When creating his paintings, Shmagin often uses the method of dripping, in which paints are sprayed on the canvas. His works are characterized by a bright saturated color, which has a strong emotional effect on the audience.
Vyacheslav Nikolaevich held more than 30 solo exhibitions. Works are in demand by collectors and are acquired by museums.
His joint exhibition with students in Saransk is open until the end of April.
