Painting and graphic art by Ivanovo artists at an exhibition in Yaroslavl Automatic translate

YAROSLAVL. A. Fedorov and A. Muchkaev, Ivanovo masters of painting, presented their works at the exhibition that opened on July 17 in the hall of the Union of Artists. Both masters are fluent in both painting and drawing techniques, but in Yaroslavl each of them decided to show his works made in the same technique.

Andrei Fedorov selected paintings to participate in the exhibition, and Alexander Muchkaev brought wonderful graphic works. On the walls of the exhibition hall were paintings, past which it was impossible to pass by, leaving at least one of them unattended.

At the opening of the exhibition, each artist spoke mostly not about himself, but about his teachers and colleagues. Andrei Fedorov with warm words and gratitude recalled the artists who helped him find his way - Yuri Zharkov, Sergei Sokolov.

No less than kind words were said by the artist about his colleague, whose graphics adorned the walls of the exhibition hall next to his own landscapes. He called Alexander Muchkaev a great professional and a wonderful teacher who showed his students the path to art.

Andrei Fedorov himself is a hereditary artist. His father, an outstanding artist Vyacheslav Fedorov, is known for his landscapes. For Andrei, landscapes are also a favorite genre of painting. On his canvases, the details were worked out amazingly precisely, they fascinate with a play of color and attract attention with an accurate composition.

Alexander Muchkaev presented graphic portraits at the exhibition. His work is forced to stop and admire the surprisingly accurate lines of wonderful portrait drawings. The artist’s drawings from the series “Russian Village” were acquired by the Tretyakov Gallery, and the series “Old Russians” is kept in the Ivanovo Museum.

The exhibition is open until August 3rd.
