The Paris cycle was a great creative success for Vladimir Larev, enthusiastically appreciated by critics from Europe. The path to success was difficult. Larev received the profession of an artist at the Cheboksary school, graduating from it in 1979. For a quarter century, he tried to find his place in painting, and only in 2004 did the first serious exhibition of Vladimir Larev take place in Cheboksary, in the art museum.

Then the artist’s paintings were seen by the audience of Paris and Barcelona, ​​Norway and Germany. Many paintings after exhibitions remained in the collections of foreign collectors. Larev showed his work in Russian cities. Exhibitions took place in Saratov, Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg.
