It is dedicated to the anniversary of the Crimean spring and in the year of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory is perceived as a tribute to today’s heroes of the Fatherland, demonstrates the unity of times, aspirations and our common history. Among the characters and themes are Empress Catherine the Great, Admiral Ushakov, Generalissimo Suvorov, Prince Potemkin, A.S. Pushkin, A.P. Chekhov, the creation of the Black Sea Fleet, landscapes and memorials of the Crimea, as well as our contemporaries, including became famous Natalya Poklonskaya.
The exhibition was organized with the support of the Social Platform of the United Russia Party and the Golden Knight Forum of Fine Arts. Deputies of the State Duma Sergey Zheleznyak, Gennady Zyuganov, Vyacheslav Nikonov, representatives of the United Russia Social Platform, director of the Institute of the CIS countries Konstantin Zatulin, members of the Federation Council, religious, public figures, and representatives of the scientific community took part in the opening of the exhibition. Specially for the exhibition to convey greetings from Sevastopol residents came the chairman of the Sevastopol organization of the Union of Journalists of Russia Sergey Gorbachev and the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Rusichi Pavel Butsai. They handed Philip Moskvitin letters of thanks from the Governor of Sevastopol, Sergei Menyaylo, and the chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the city, Alexei Chaly.
