Dmitry Chaus was born in Kharkov (Ukraine) in 1981 into a family of artists. Graduated from Kharkiv Art School with a degree in graphic design (1996-2000) and Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts (Faculty of Easel Painting; 2000-2006). Since 2008 - a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine, Master of Arts (KSADI). 2006-2017 - senior teacher of painting and composition at the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. G. S. Frying pans. 2010-2017 - taught painting at teacher training universities and art academies in China. Professor at the Hebei Academy of Arts, Professor at the Sichuan University of the Arts. Awarded the Medal for Special Contribution to the Arts (Shitijuang Normal University, China; 2012). 2019 - Member of the Union of Artists of Bratislava (Slovak Republic).Since 2020 - co-founder and deputy chairman of the creative patriotic association "National Palette".
