Art project Surprise Anna Bykova (Kharkov) ETSI ’Tea factory’ Odessa automatic translate
Anna Bykova is one of the most dynamically developing young artists of the domestic art scene.
The only one of the Ukrainian young artists included in the shortlist of the contest from Google and Saatchi Gallery (London).
It is worth noting that Anna is actively mastering the latest visual media, in contemporary art, practicing interdisciplinary relations and experiments, refracting the traditional idea of the possibilities of contemporary art.
Anna Bykova currently lives and is educated in Kharkov and Moscow in parallel: the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts, the Faculty of Monumental Painting and the Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia Rodchenko, in the studio of the video art of Kirill Preobrazhensky, studying art criticism from Catherine Tar and David Riff.
The author who expresses himself in contrast to the bulk of current young artists through powerful visual messages and the viewer, who has recently been accustomed to the text and who needs such explanations, will be satisfied with those in the premises of the ETSI Tea Factory (Odessa).
The «Surprise» art project is a media installation that transforms the art phenomena of painting and video that are traditionally acceptable to the viewer’s consciousness, stereotyped as self sufficient and not intersecting with each other, into an entirely new interactive space erasing the boundaries of conscious visual designs.
