Exhibition "Artists of Crimea. Return" in the Museum of A.N. Scriabin Automatic translate
March 19, 2015 at 17.00 in the Museum of A.N. Scriabin will host the opening of the exhibition “Artists of Crimea. Return ”, dedicated to the first anniversary of the return of the peninsula to the Russian Federation.
At the exhibition, the Moscow audience will be able to get acquainted with the best examples of fine art of modern Crimea. Artists participating in the ArtKrym creative association, Hugo Schauffler, Artem Puchkov, Irina Zaitseva and Yuri Laptev, will present their work. Each of them works in his own style and technique, creates his own unique images, but all of them were inspired by one genius of the place - Crimea. Crimean land continues to nourish artists - for almost a century and a half Crimea has been attracting painters like a magnet. Here worked I.K. Aivazovsky, I.I. Levitan, A.I. Kuindzhi, I.I. Shishkin, V.I. Surikov, P.P. Konchalovsky, A.P. Bogolyubov, M.A. Voloshin - you will not list all. And this tradition did not stop: artists still fall to the Crimean source of inspiration… At the exhibition “Artists of Crimea. Return "we can once again be convinced of this. The artists represented at the exhibition are worthy successors of the rich cultural traditions of Crimea.
The ArtKrym project is a bridge between the peninsula and a large country, another connecting thread between the Crimea and Russia in the sphere of ideas, spirit, and culture. Without Crimea, it is difficult to imagine Russia and Russian art - now is the time to meet again and remember how much we mean to each other.
In the Museum of A.N. Scriabin will also demonstrate exhibits from his Crimean twin museum - the A.N. Beketov’s house-museum in Alushta.
After the grand opening of the exhibition, the guests of the vernissage will enjoy a piano concert performed by the winner of international competitions, the winner of the V International Piano Competition named after A.N. Scriabin (first prize) Arseny Tarasevich-Nikolaev. The concert starts at 19:00.
The exhibition will be open to visitors until March 29.
