“The Back Side” (BACKSIDE) is a street art exhibition of works by 14 street artists of St. Petersburg. The project provides the viewer with the opportunity to see art objects created in street technology and placed in gallery conditions.

The aim of the project is to show that even illegal painting on the streets of the city eventually leads artists to completely new horizons of art.

Regardless of the scale and location, the “Reverse Side” always adheres to the principle “Art should be accessible to everyone” - admission to exhibitions is always free and does not depend on the age category.

Expositions are often played out in the spirit of the streets in order to give the space an atmosphere appropriate to the nature of the work.

Most art objects will be exhibited as part of the project for the first time!
