Exhibition "Invitation to Travel" Automatic translate
At the main railway station of Perm, an exhibition of reproductions of the masterpieces of Russian fine art from the collection of the Perm Art Gallery has opened.
The exhibition “Invitation to Travel” is a joint project of the SZR and the Perm State Art Gallery. Its main goal is to increase the level of psychological comfort of passengers at stations of the Sverdlovsk Railway and to popularize works of art from the gallery’s collection. Everyone knows that in the period of preparation for the trip, the passenger often spends for a long time within the walls of the station and is forced to focus on the surrounding area. Works of classical art that fall into his field of vision will contribute to the birth of positive emotions and increase the comfort of the environment.
In the project “Invitation to Travel”, passengers will see amazing corners of Russia: the Ural forests, rivers and lakes of the middle lane, sunny warm sea and moonlit night.
The exposition, adapted to the public space of the station, includes 17 photocopies of paintings stored in the Perm Art Gallery. Among them are the works of Ivan Aivazovsky, Ivan Shishkin, Arkhip Kuindzhi, Alexei Bogolyubov, Vasily Polenov and other famous painters.
