On October 22, 2021, the exhibition “Fathers and Sons”, dedicated to the famous creative dynasties of the city of Moscow, will open in the Belyaevo gallery of the Moscow Exhibition Halls Association.
The aim of the exhibition is to show the variety and evolution of creative methods in Russian art using the example of the presented artists. The exhibitors are artists who influenced Russian culture from the 1930s to the present.
The relationship between the personal and the public is most noticeable in families, where not only a common culture, but also a creative profession is passed from generation to generation. Each new generation continues the traditions of their parents and at the same time fights against them. The Fathers and Sons exhibition is designed to show the general principles of inheritance and transformation of traditions through an analysis of one of the segments of Russian art.
The exhibition will feature works by Zurab Tsereteli, Elena Tsereteli, Konstantin Khudyakov, Marina Khudyakova, Alexandra Khudyakova, Tair Salakhov, Aidan Salakhova, Kaykhan Salakhov, Alexander N. Burganov, Masha Burganov-Yaltanskaya, Alexander Bubnov, Vasily Baranova, Leonid Bubnov, Petr Baranov and Natalia Baranova.
