The exhibition of the St. Petersburg graphic artist Olga Lavrukhina presents drawings that are included as illustrations in the new book of poems by the poet Vladimir Bauer "Control of the Winds". The drawings are made with ink and pen on colored paper.
With this exhibition, the artist and poet want to mark the publication of a book that they have been working on for the past few years. This is a kind of creative stage. Well, and, of course, the theme of the air element, winds and hurricanes is in perfect harmony with the name of the Borey gallery.
So, Vladimir Bauer wrote poetry, Olga Lavrukhina painted. The result of this joint creative work was a series of drawings presented at the exhibition. The artist’s goal was to create a book as an artistic object, and not just a utilitarian information carrier.
As a pleasant bonus, viewers will be able to see a series of illustrations for "Little Tragedies" by A. S. Pushkin, made by Olga Lavrukhina using the etching technique.

In total, the exhibition will feature more than fifty drawings, etchings and monotypes. These works have not been exhibited anywhere before, and visitors to Boreas will be their first viewers.
