“Wind, clouds, rain. History of Interaction ”- a personal exhibition of the famous embroidery artist Natalia Oparina is dedicated to the communication and interaction of people with nature, animals, and art. The exposition will feature works of different years, the performance in various embroidery techniques, including from the projects “Colorful Clothes of Joseph” and “Following the Departing Day”.
Here is how Natalia herself describes the contents of the exhibition: “The wind acts, the clouds collect, the rain feeds, the earth receives and gives to the one who is like the wind, to the one who collects and feeds, to the one who receives and gives.
History of interaction. We live in communication not only with each other, but also in communication with nature, animals, in communication with books, art, someone lives in communication with God. We are all different, and only communicating, we can understand each other "
Natalia Nikolaevna Oparina works with a variety of embroidery techniques (richelieu, beads, gold embroidery, etc.), creating paintings based on biblical and gospel themes. Her art textiles include traditional church embroidery, interior designs, clothes and accessories. The best of all convey complex multi-figure compositions in the artist’s handwriting.
Flowers, birds, animals, people, angels, memories and thoughts are embroidered on textile canvases: a thoughtful style with elements of primitive images and a deep inner work. Her canvases are born from the centuries-old tradition of monastic embroideries, rural needlework and the bizarre achievements of Russian Art Nouveau.
Economist by education, author of the book “Embroidery. Biblical motives ”, she lives and works in Nizhny Novgorod. Since 1995, he has been actively participating in Russian and international exhibitions and competitions.
