For more than 50 years Kosharov lived in Siberia, created many beautiful views of the Ob, visited Altai and Baikal. The Irkutsk Art Museum has a large collection of river landscapes and miniatures of Kosharov. All of them are first presented to a wide audience within the framework of the exhibition "Sea and River Landscape".
Among the authors who also experienced the influence of Aivazovsky are Alexei Petrovich Bogolyubov, a Russian marine painter, a master of the Russian battle marina. The grandson of the writer A. N. Radishchev.
As an artist of the General Naval Staff, he executed a large series of canvases on the history of the Russian navy, winning the fame of an outstanding painter-historiographer, a magnificent marine painter. The exhibition features a work by Bogolyubov "Fire on a ship"
Among the works on display are works by Vladimir Kazantsev and Heinrich Giller. The exhibition includes about 30 works, which, despite the genre commonality, differ in their plot: views of the sea nature alternate with river landscapes, on the canvases you can find images of large ships, fishing boats and figures of people whose life and fate depend on the sea.
