Tikhomirov Leonid Petrovich /16.07.1925–17.09.2016/ - Honored Artist of the RSFSR. He studied at the art faculty of the Moscow Textile School. In 1943, he joined the army. From 1943 to 1946 he served in aviation. After the war he entered the art faculty of VGIK | 1946-1952 |. He studied with Professor F. Bogorodsky, Yu. Pimenov, G. Shegal. Leonid Tikhomirov created many of his works with his wife Olga.
