Acquaintance and communication with Ilya Glazunov (Natalya studied with his daughter Vera) became decisive for the formation of a young artist. In his student years, he had the opportunity to participate in the painting of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior (his fresco “The Last Judgment” is located directly above the entrance to the temple), as well as in the design of the Grand Kremlin Palace.
