I will perpetuate this replica, find and describe her identity, create a memory of her and make this household name, ”the author says.

Potapov uses a holographic film as a basis for painting to emphasize the virtuality of what is happening. In his opinion, the holographic basis is of a technical nature and its radiance refers to the light of Tabor. Potapov is the only author of his generation who is programmatically engaged in the resuscitation and development of painting. The artist has established himself as a revisionist and innovator of modern painting. Potapov is called an alchemist in painting for his use of non-standard painting materials from transparent media to complex layered paint structures.
