May 8 at 16.00 in the Gallery of Siberian Art (st. Karl Marx, 23) opens the exhibition "Color Shape". The creative and family union of Irkutsk artists Natalya Dovnich and Andrei Polyanitsa presents their best works. Paintings, art ceramics and decorative glassworks are organically combined into a single image of the exhibition, without interfering with the perception of the individuality of each of the authors.
Despite the differences in the creative approach, styles, genres and materials, in the works of two artists you can see common features - a bright palette, bright colors, a positive mood. Both artists graduated from the Irkutsk Art College and the Irkutsk State Technical University, however, each found his own way in art. While Natalya Dovnich works in easel painting and monumental and decorative art using mosaic, stained glass and wall painting techniques, Andrei Polyanitsa is professionally engaged in artistic ceramics, painting and photography. If Natalya finds a harmonious balance between academic and avant-garde painting, then Andrey Polyanitsa boldly experiments with form, often working on the verge of material possibilities, and fills her images with good irony and love of life.
The exhibition opens on May 8 at 16.00 in the Gallery of Siberian Art of the Irkutsk Regional Art Museum. V.P. Sukachev (st. Karl Marx, 23) and will work until May 27, 2018. Entrance to the opening is free. Phone for inquiries: 33-43-89.
