The printed publications presented in the book part of the exhibition are no less unique - more than 200 rare books in Russian and foreign languages ​​(35 languages ​​in total!) “I wanted to be a memory. In memory of the people who suffered a great disaster, ”the writer saw his creative task. The main themes of his works - the choice and responsibility of a person in the face of trials - remain relevant in any historical era and in any country. The Nobel Committee expressed worldwide recognition of the creative work of Alexander Solzhenitsyn by awarding the prize with the wording: "For the moral strength with which he continued the eternal tradition of Russian literature."
