On December 20, a total installation opens in the Nagornaya Gallery of the Moscow Exhibition Halls Association. Once inside, the viewer enters the New Year forest of modern art.
The participants of the Yolka project are 15 artists who are completely different from each other and belong to different generations: Sergey Malyutin / Vladimir Sergachev, Daria Zhmylyova, Alexey Dyakov, Alexandra Ostrovskaya, Daria Kudinova, Marina Zvyagintseva, Ekaterina Gavrilova / Pavel Kopaev, Urana Kuular, Alexander Dvortsevoy / Avrora.ru (Natalya Rudakova), Natalya Belyaeva, Tatyana Krol, Alya Hestanti.
What unites them? The magic of the New Year. The time when it is customary to visit each other, to decorate the Christmas tree, to give presents, to open the doors of the house, the workshop and the heart to friends.
The exhibition will feature 12 Christmas trees and 12 New Year’s workshops, each of which is a unique project, telling about its authors and showing what an individual version of art and modernity can be. Media New Year’s statements are very different: from glass, painting and photography to the language of cinema.
The event program of the project includes lectures, master classes, curator tours.
