ARTSTORY Gallery from April 20 to July 30, 2023 presents the exhibition project “Vladimir Lyubarov. Kolya sees with the third eye. The name of the exhibition has a very topical subtitle “Oil Paintings of Domestic Production”. A new meeting is ahead with the amazing and bright, ironic and philosophical works of the artist Vladimir Lyubarov. In total, about 80 works will be presented, many of which are exhibited for the first time.

We will talk about the "capital" and the inhabitants of the Lubarov country - the village of Peremilovo, where the artist lives, and other villages adjoining it with outlandish names: Penye, Lyubilki, Random, Neskuchay, Upertovka, Bukhalovo… At first, Lyubarov collected the wonderful names of the surrounding villages - as evidence of folk wit and that very disappearing laughter culture. Trying to unravel why the villages are called so, Lyubarov visited many of them, some only in his imagination. And in the end, he painted all of them - often disappeared in reality, but revived in his paintings.
