From January 10 to January 28, 2019, the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Luxembourg will host a personal exhibition of paintings and pastels by St. Petersburg artist Larisa Akhmadeeva.
The exhibition in Luxembourg is a continuation of her successful creative visits to the Netherlands. In December 2017, the first exhibition of Larisa Akhmadeeva in The Hague, organized by the Anna Pavlova charity foundation, was held at the De Muse Theater (Noordvijk). And in March next year, the second personal exhibition and master classes of the artist took place at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Netherlands. Then a series of paintings appeared about the beautiful Dutch cities of The Hague, Delft and Lelystad. And of course about ballet in the performance of young artists of the International Academy of Classical Russian Ballet Vladislav Kuramshin.
The exhibition at the embassy was very warmly received by the public, and already in September last year, these works adorned the pavilion of the Russian Federation at the international festival of embassies in The Hague.
In December 2018, the opening day of an exhibition of 50 works by the artist, organized with the support of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Belgium, was accompanied by the solemn “Evening before Christmas” at the Russian Center for Science and Culture of Brussels. There were presented works performed in different periods of creativity: ballet and backstage sketches in various theaters and dance classes, as well as picturesque city landscapes painted in St. Petersburg and on creative trips to old Europe.
In continuation of Larisa Akhmadeeva’s peredvizhnaya activity at the exhibition in Luxembourg will be presented as previously exhibited works, as well as new ones written before Christmas in Brussels.
