On Saturday, November 26, at 5 p.m. Gallery of Classical Photography invites you to a creative meeting with photographer and traveler Vladimir Ryabkov.
Vladimir Ryabkov is one of the leading landscape photographers in Russia. He is known to a wide audience as a regular participant in the Primordial Russia festival. The author creates unique images of nature, in which ordinary landscapes appear in the most unexpected roles. He repeatedly visited expeditions in Yakutia and Chukotka, where he photographed under extreme conditions at a temperature of minus 58 degrees. The geography of his filming covers the most remote corners of Russia - Khibiny and Murmansk, Karelia, the Polar Urals, Kuznetsk Alatau, Taimyr, Tuva, the Lena and Sinaya rivers in Yakutia, the Putorana plateau…
This year, Vladimir Ryabkov made an expedition to Dombay, from where he brought a magnificent series of autumn landscapes. And the spring ice drift, according to tradition, was filmed in Karelia. At the same time, according to the photographer himself, he owes his best landscape work to the Moscow Region and the Tver Region.
“From childhood, nature attracted me to itself with inexplicable magical power. I wanted to become an artist and a traveler and throughout my childhood I painted and traveled to local rivers, ”says Vladimir Ryabkov.
At the meeting, he will present to his guests his work and his vision of landscape photography. And besides, he will share his many years of experience in shooting landscapes and talk about his photographic journeys.
