Repina, prefers the difficult genre of portraiture, conveying the character and mood of the models in a pasty expressive manner. The youngest of the authors of the exhibition - Ivan Ushakov is in his last year of painting faculty of the Academy of Arts. I. E. Repina, lives and works in St. Petersburg. He expresses his artistic vision of the surrounding people and situations both through painting and in graphic sketches.
