At the evening, the presence and performance of the great-great-granddaughter of Pushkin and the great-granddaughter of Emperor Alexander II, Baroness Clotilde von Rintelen, nee Countess von Merenberg, is expected. The program will be presented by Honored Artists of Russia Alexey Emelyanov, Galina Sidorenko, Anatoly Dichkovsky, Sergey Forostyaniy, as well as Dmitry Dmitriev and Mikhail Buzin, accompanied by the chamber ensemble "Divertissement".
On June 7, a concert will be held in the Sofia Hall of the St. Petersburg Art Museum, which will be performed by the St. Petersburg Chamber Choir under the direction of Nikolai Kornev, Honored Artist of Russia. The program included choral works written to Pushkin’s poems by composers Dargomyzhsky, Arensky, Grechaninov, Kalinnikov, Rimsky-Korsakov, Taneyev, Tchaikovsky, Sviridov.
The Pushkin marathon will end on June 10 in the Kochneva House with an original concert “I Remember a Wonderful Moment”. People’s Artist of Russia Sergei Novozhilov, laureates of international competitions Natalia Krivenok, Natalya Varlamova and Aslan Namitok will perform songs and romances written by Pushkin’s poems by contemporaries of the poet.
The festival program also included a musical speckle-sketch “Lady Peak” based on the works of Pushkin and Tchaikovsky’s opera “The Queen of Spades”. However, the cost of this production is 700 rubles. The performance will take place in the Kochneva House on June 8.
