Winners of the 2025 Afanasy Kulikov Prize

KALUGA. On December 5, 2025, at 4:00 PM, the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts (103 Lenin Street) will host an awards ceremony for the winners of the 2025 Afanasy Kulikov Prize exhibition and competition.

In 2025, an absolute record was set for both the number of participants and the number of works presented at the exhibition.

185 applications from 84 people were accepted to participate in the competition in the Painting category,
89 applications from 45 people were received in the "Graphics" category,
In the nomination "Decorative and Applied Arts" 13 applications from 9 people were accepted,
In the Sculpture category, 14 applications from 7 people were accepted,
In the "Collage" nomination, 1 application from 1 person was accepted,
In the "Assemblage" category, 2 applications from 2 people were accepted,
In the competition in the "Installation" category, 2 applications from 2 people were accepted.

The exhibition features over 300 works, executed in various techniques and genres, by more than 130 professional and amateur artists and craftsmen. Prizes are awarded for the most talented, innovative, and original works of fine or applied art in the following categories: painting, graphics, sculpture, and applied arts.

As a result of a secret vote, a simple majority of those present at the vote decided to award 10 diplomas and cash prizes named after Afanasy Kulikov:
