The author’s technologies discovered by him impart special depth and expressiveness to historical and mythological subjects, to which the artist often turns. So, one of the peaks of his work was a cycle of works dedicated to the development of the Amur lands, and a gallery of images of prominent personalities,who took part in the development of the Russian Far East, showed the bright, individual skill of the artist. The new possibilities of easel enamel revealed by him acquired a special meaning and made a significant contribution to the development of Russian artistic culture.

Valery Levataev is an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Komsomolsk-on-Amur branch of the Union of Artists of Russia, a permanent participant in all-Russian, regional, regional and international exhibitions. The author’s works are kept in the collections of state museums in Birobidzhan, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Novosibirsk, Khabarovsk, Yaroslavl, galleries in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok.
