From Voronezh to Moscow via Nizhnevartovsk: Nikolai Brykin’s Path to the Deputy Chair Automatic translate
Nikolai Brykin, a well-known politician today, a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, has come a long way to his position. He managed to work in various fields: he passed the state and military service, was the founder and participant of commercial enterprises. All this helped the current deputy to accumulate knowledge of various fields, vast work experience and direct them to political activity.
Childhood, school and army
Nikolai Brykin was born on November 25, 1959 in the small village of Soldatskoye, Ostrogozhsky District, Voronezh Region. His childhood was no different from the childhood of ordinary rural boys. In the summer, they rushed through the streets for days on end, playing Cossack robbers, riding bicycles, swimming in the pond, and of course, to the best of their ability, they helped their parents with the housework. In winter, these are snowballs, ice fortresses, snowmen and sleds. After leaving school, Brykin, like most of his friends, went to study at the Ostrogozhsk Agricultural College. After graduating from it, he entered military service in the ranks of the Soviet army in the border troops of the KGB of the USSR. The place of service was the border with China, the Kazakh SSR. Brykin served in the Kurchum detachment at the 10th border outpost "Matveevka", in the service he proved to be an excellent soldier, for which he was awarded the badges "Excellent worker of the border troops" I and II degree. Also, for excellent service, Nikolai Brykin was sent to work on a Komsomol ticket to the internal affairs bodies in Nizhnevartovsk. Thus began Brykin’s career in public service.
public service
Starting in 1983 as an ordinary employee of the internal affairs bodies, in just a few years, Nikolai Brykin took the position of deputy head of the criminal police - head of the department for combating economic crimes of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Nizhnevartovsk, Tyumen Region. At this stage, it became necessary to obtain a higher profile education, and Brykin graduated from the Higher Police School in Tyumen (today the Tyumen Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia) on the job.
In 1992, the Federal Tax Police Service of the Russian Federation (FSNP RF) was established - a law enforcement agency directly subordinate to the President of the Russian Federation. Gradually, branches of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation began to open in each region of the country; in 1994, a tax police department was also formed in Nizhnevartovsk. Since the tax and criminal police had common goals and functioned in a similar manner to each other, it is not surprising that Nikolai Brykin, having extensive leadership experience in this area, headed the tax police of Nizhnevartovsk. In less than five years, he became the first deputy head of the Department of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.
Nikolai Brykin’s service in the tax police is characterized by a high level of detection of economic and tax crimes, fraudulent schemes in the oil and gambling business and, as a result, regular replenishment of the city and regional budgets.
In 1999, Brykin was transferred to Moscow, where he became the first deputy head of the Moscow Department of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation. Three years of excellent service and high results brought him many awards: this is the "Honorary Tax Police Officer", Makarov’s personalized pistol, and the rank of major general. Nikolai Brykin served in Moscow until 2004, namely until the abolition of the Federal Tax Police Service. Then fate again sent him far from central Russia - to the Far East region, where he headed the Bureau of Economic Tax Crimes of the Far Eastern Federal District. In 2006, the civil service of Nikolai Brykin was completed, a new stage began in his life - business.
Businessman Nikolai Brykin
After the end of his service in August 2006, Nikolai Brykin went into business: he worked in senior positions at Mechel OJSC, Rostopprom OJSC, Rosneft OJSC. He was a co-founder in two commercial organizations.
The geography of its activities has reached the south of Russia: Southern Breeze LLC and Bakhus LLC in the Krasnodar Territory.
The commercial enterprises in which Brykin participated were active and successful, and Nikolai himself was able to recognize the other side, for which he had previously been a counterparty (in the service of the tax police). However, gradually he made a choice in favor of "serving" the state and the people. Positions where you can support the population and help him attracted the major general more, and in 2016 Brykin sold all his shares in commercial organizations.
Public Fund and the State Duma
In 2014, while still a businessman, Nikolai Brykin received an invitation to a permanent job in the Regional Public Fund for Assistance to Veterans of Special Units of Security Agencies to Combat Terrorism "Protection of the Fatherland". The invitation was accepted, and Brykin took the post of First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Fund.
In 2016, as a representative of the said Fund, he, together with several Tyumen public organizations, established the Regional Tyumen Public Association "Protection of the Fatherland", where he became the Chairman of the Board. After that, in May 2016, he took part in the United Russia primaries, passed the selection and became a candidate for the State Duma of the Russian Federation from this party. Following the results of the elections to the State Duma, he was elected a deputy from the United Russia party, representing the Tyumen region.
Today, Nikolai Brykin is active in politics for the benefit of the region he represents: he represents the interests of the region at the federal level, promotes the implementation of state educational and social programs, supports the economy and investment policy of the Tyumen region, personally controls citizens’ appeals and work with them. Great seniority and experience in public service help the deputy in many ways.
