The Museum of Moscow and the Samo studio are launching an educational course on art therapy. The course at the Museum of Moscow is designed to acquaint everyone interested with the basics of art therapy and various methods of using it, including in museums. Classes will be held in three areas: "Art therapy", "Museum art therapy" and "Art therapy for specialists". In each part of the program, lectures will be led by foreign and Russian lecturers. Among them - a certified art therapist, a member of the American Art Therapy Association Anna Sche, a psychotherapist, co-founder and scientific consultant of the Institute of Creative Therapy (Berlin, Germany) Udo Baer, a host of seminars on art therapy in museums in Russia and the UK Nana Zhvitiashvili, curator of educational programs and art psychotherapist at the National Museum of Modern Art (Athens, Greece) Elizabeth Ioannidis, art therapist at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (Canada) Stefan Legari,art psychotherapist Helen Jury, clinical psychologist, head of the dance movement psychotherapy department of the Institute of Practical Psychology and Psychoanalysis (Moscow) Alena Burenkova and art therapist, head of the ArtDom Art Therapy Center (Moscow) Varvara Sidorova.
