Book Palace - Ulyanovsk Regional Scientific Library named after V.I. Lenin launches the International Competition #PushkinLike: we read Pushkin in the languages of the peoples of the world, dedicated to the 220th anniversary of the birth of the Russian poet Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin. The competition is designed to rally representatives of different nationalities, citizens of Russia and other countries around traditional values - love of the word, literary heritage, the best traditions of the past - and to establish a creative dialogue between cultures in the name of the future.
The competition accepts videos of declarations of the works of A.S. Pushkin (or fragments thereof). The only condition is reading poetry against the backdrop of historical and cultural attractions of cities and countries. The shooting of Pushkin places, literary museums and monuments of A.S. Pushkin.
Entries are accepted until September 1, 2019. You must fill out an author application form and submit a link to the video on YouTube video hosting. Winners will be announced in September 2019 as part of the celebration of the 220th anniversary of A.S. Pushkin in the city of Ulyanovsk.
The library appeals to connoisseurs of poetry from different countries (from the age of 14 years). Read your favorite Pushkin lines in your native language - Russian, Tatar, Udmurt, Chuvash, Mordovian, Komi, English, German, French, Polish, Azerbaijani, etc. And do not forget to share your work on the pages of social networks with the hashtags: PushkinLike, #PushkinLike, #Pushkinlayk, #TimeRead Pushkin.
