The series of black-and-white photographs presented at the exhibition includes the picturesque corners of Minsk, Veliky Novgorod, Karelia, St. Petersburg and the suburbs captured by the author.
From the author
Each season gives new feelings, new impressions, a sense of harmony with nature. In the spring, nature wakes up, slowly reaching for the first rays of the sun. In the summer, it develops harmoniously and is filled with colors, filled with the aroma of warm days and fragrant. Autumn is a beautiful season, when the wind rustles with leaves, and the trees are painted in a variety of colors. Winter bewitches the whole plant world, dresses trees, paths and benches in snow-white robes, and streams rivers and ponds on ice.
But the seasons are not only a change of seasons, but also a state of mind. Something that you not only see and feel, but also what you feel.
Larisa Andrushkevich was born in 1974 in Belarus. She graduated from school in Krasnoufimsk, Sverdlovsk region. Entered the Ural Academy of Public Administration in Yekaterinburg. In 2005 she moved to St. Petersburg.
The first time I picked up a “soap box” in 2004, having bought it for a trip on vacation. I shot everything without thinking. After moving to St. Petersburg, I did not pick up the camera for quite some time, but at some point I realized that photography is another way to look at the world.
