January 15, 2016 in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory will be a concert of classical music with 3D visualization.
The concert program includes great music from the ballet The Nutcracker by P. I. Tchaikovsky, filled with Christmas magic, and The Poem of Ecstasy - one of the brightest works of composer A. N. Scriabin, the founder of the idea of synthesis of music and light.
The music will be performed by the Russian National Orchestra (RNO) - the best symphonic ensemble in Russia, according to many respected foreign critics. The conductor of the project is Dmitry Kryukov, at 25, he is a guest conductor of the Bolshoi Theater.
The 3D visualization of music is the responsibility of an international team of artists who have become famous for organizing 3D light shows at Pink Floyd concerts and who have completed many audio-visual projects at well-known international venues and festivals.
“We believe that this project can become one of the brightest in the world, where music and its visual display in 3D will merge into a single whole,” the artists of the project shared.
“3D visualization of classical music will forever change the audience’s perception of this genre of art. The way three-dimensional visual images fill the space of the concert hall, painting the masterpieces of classical music in the process of their performance by the symphony orchestra is a truly unforgettable sight that everyone should see with their own eyes, ”says Maria Chernova, the organizer of the first 3D classical music concert in Russia.
According to the organizers, the project of classical music in 3D format will find its audience both among professional connoisseurs of classics, and among amateurs open to new experiences. A 3D concert will certainly be of interest to the youngest listeners, who will be impressed by the extraordinary beauty and monumentality of great musical works that come to life visually right before our eyes.
