Gallery IZO / Art Gallery opens a personal exhibition of Julia Reznikova Automatic translate
Gallery IZO Art gallery opens a solo exhibition by Yulia Reznikova "Happy Journey to Santorini", which will be opened on September 25 at 19:00 at Romanov Lane 4/2, BC "Romanov Dvor" (free admission).
The exposition presents works with views of Santorini.
The coloristic dominant of the series, of course, is the blue color, which literally painted everything on the island. Exposing a palette of emotions, Julia Reznikova delegates to the viewer the subtle nuances of feelings and sensations, changing shades from a carefree pale blue to dramatic dark blue. The quick technique of acrylic made it possible to capture both fleeting impressions, and to fully display the processed, reinforced with memories feelings. Like the teacher, Moses Feigin, Y. Reznikova in his works is complex and ambiguous. The outward beauty and looseness of the brush is combined with underlying symbolism. The painting of this series is lively and mobile and the plein air aroma is preserved in it. There are no pure natural landscapes, however, the city in the paintings looks as if it was not created by human hands, but was molded by God’s providence, like rocks and the sea around. It is deprived of human presence, only the “signs” left in some places remind us that the place was once inhabited. Narrow, branching streets that climb a mountain and descend into the arches with steep steps bear the imprint of eternity and do not need a person. The paintings are filled with bright sunshine and a quiet whisper of history. These works combine the mastery of the brush and the work of the soul of the author.
The exhibition is open to visitors from September 10 to October 1, 2014 every day, seven days a week. The representative of the gallery is Saltovskaya Maria Mon-Fri from 12: 00-19: 00. Phone for information +7 (926) 220-72-40 (46), +7 (903) 550-89-26
