From July 25 to October 30, 2022, the photo exhibition "Feeling at Home" will be held at the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center. The project, presented by twelve photographers, will take viewers to different parts of Russia: from the Gulf of Finland to Birobidzhan, from the Taimyr Peninsula to North Ossetia, and show how emotional bonds are formed with the place that a person calls “home”.
At the same time, the word “house” can mean a family nest where several generations of the family lived, and a portable tent, and a childhood apartment, memories of which are stored in each of us, and a hotel room where we had to stay for several months. The exhibition is organized jointly with the research project "Reserve" (Public Opinion Foundation).
The curator of the exhibition is Nina Gomiashvili, an independent curator of exhibition art projects.
