November 17, the art gallery "Manufactory" invites the artist Ruslan Ivashchenko, under the name "Color Impressions", to the exhibition.
Ruslan Ivashchenko is a follower of the traditions of the European school of impressionism.
The exposition contains more than 30 works by the author in the genres classic for impressionism: landscape and still life.
Inheriting the traditions of style, the artist seeks to capture the instant and fleeting emotions of what he saw. The wide manner of writing, juicy strokes freely laid on the canvas give his painting a special mobility. Speed of writing, expression and dynamics create the effect of a living canvas. And the spectators are participants in the action taking place in the picture: they follow a motley crowd of passers-by, become part of a metropolis living in their chaotic rhythm, feel gusts of wind and the waving of herbs, inhale the scent of flowers, hear the sound of the sea and the cry of gulls.
The artist masterfully creates images with one or two touches of the brush, intentionally leaving a feeling of light incompleteness. An important factor in his work is the emotional impact of color. In landscapes, he focuses on color and light interactions.
The painter prefers to work in open air. Pictures created in open space are transformed thanks to moving all-penetrating light.
Ruslan Ivashchenko was born in Yalta in 1986. He studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. He graduated from the magistracy at the faculty of painting. The artist lives and works in Kiev.
The painter’s works can be seen at exhibitions in our country and abroad. His paintings are in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, China and the USA.
The exhibition runs until January 18th.
